What is an Insider?

Responder Life's goal, is to create a positive community where responder families can be transformed, and help transform others. We recognize that the first responder community itself is cynical and hard to penetrate. The long-term impacts of the job cause a downward slide that quickly destroys faith, families and other relationships. We strive to create traction points to stop this slide by providing opportunities where responders and their families can hear and respond to the call of Christ and begin building healthy lives, families, marriages, relationships and careers.

We start by finding Responder Life Insiders (men and women who are already in the first responder culture, usually first responder’s themselves) and then train and equip these Insiders to help fellow responders to have healthier marriages and families.

We provide the tools necessary for these insiders to be advocates and resources for other responders to gain the help they need to build a vibrant marriage.

Becoming an Insider: The Truth Project
The first thing we ask insiders to go through is the Truth Project. In partnership with Focus on the Family, we utilize The Truth Project to give new Insiders the tools necessary to begin their service. The Truth Project is a small group study, designed to equip Insiders with a comprehensive biblical world view. The lessons discuss in detail God's design for living out he Christian world view in daily life. Most importantly, it addressed the need to marry our actions to our core beliefs in all that we do!
