Dave Williams, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees (Read More about Dave)
Dave spent 25 years working with the Portland Police Bureau,
and retired after serving a number of those years as the Assistant
Chief of Police. Dave earned his Bachelor of Science in Law
Enforcement, from Southern Oregon University, and his Masters in Justice
Administration from the University of Portland. He was the
1992 national recipient of the Police Executive Research
Forum's Gary P. Hayes Award for outstanding initiatives in
improving police services. Dave was formerly an adjunct Criminal
Justice Professor for the University of Portland. He has served
as an independent consultant assisting communities around
the country in developing their police departments. Dave served as the President of Responder Life from 2004 to 2010, where he has since been named Chairman of the Board. Dave
and his wife Lois have been married for over four decades and currently live in Happy Valley, Oregon. |

Chris Green, President and Chief Executive Officer (Read More about Chris)
Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from Multnomah University.
Chris served several years as a Pastor at Sunset
Presbyterian Church. He also served over a decade in the emergency services as a Reserve Officer and Chaplain with a number of Police and Fire agencies.
He worked with the Ministers and Police Program as the liaison
to pastors and ministries with Portland Police Chief Mark
Kroeker. He worked as the administrator of two different
medical centers before coming to Responder Life full-time in 2005, as Vice President of Development and was made the President of Responder Life in 2010.
Chris is married to Kristy and they have five sons, Cameron,
Kellan, Keenan, Cai, and Kade. Chris and his family currently live in Sandy, Oregon. |

Trey Doty, Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer
Trey Doty is an experienced nonprofit professional whose entrepreneurial approach has emerged from his leadership in grantmaking, higher education, church planting, and community service organizations. Trey received a B.S. in Sociology/Social Work from George Fox University and his Master of Divinity from George Evangelical Seminary. His post-graduate studies include a Certificate of Nonprofit Development from Portland State University and the completion of a twelve-month Residency in Clinical Pastoral Education from Legacy Emanuel Hospital and Health Center, a level-one trauma center in Portland, OR. He is a recorded (ordained) Friends pastor in the Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends Churches. He currently serves as an adjunct faculty member and ministry leadership coach for George Fox University, member of the Pastoral Care and Consultation Committee for Emanuel Hospital and Health Center, and Chair for the Board of Leadership Development for the sixty-seven Friends (Quaker) churches in the Pacific Northwest. Trey and his wife, Stephanie reside in Portland, OR with their two children and enjoy exploring new restaurants, browsing Powell's Bookstore, and spending most of their time on the sideline of a soccer match. |

Skip Asjes, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Chief Strategy Officer
Skip and his wife Linda Asjes have lived in Des Moines, Iowa, for over 25 years working with The Navigators. He is ordained and works to live out and help others in the conversational and relational growth of the good news about Jesus. They practice Insider Living in their local setting and resource others around the country who are being fruitful as Insiders. They like the outdoors hiking, canoeing, camping, fishing, hunting and exploring new places. Linda has been a floral designer, and Skip is a landscaper as a tentmaking job. He has landscaped for over 40 years. Their favorite places to travel are the North Shore of Lake Superior, Norway, Ireland and the Netherlands. Skip frequents coffee shops for the spiritual conversations that emerge. Linda and Skip have enjoyed living in a newer neighborhood where they have partnered with another couple in helping many experience the good news of The Kingdom and grow in their faith in Jesus. They have four children and two grandsons. |

Clarke graduated with a degree in World Missions from Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, TN. He has served over a decade in emergency services as an EMT-IV, Chaplain, & Crisis Management Specialist. Clarke has received extensive training in Crisis Intervention and Stress Management and has received 3 Certificates of Specialized Training through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation in Emergency Services Response, Spiritual Care in Crisis, and Substance Abuse Crisis Intervention. Clarke is also certified through the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology as a Field Traumatologist and Compassion Fatigue Educator. Clarke & his wife Carissa - a NICU Nurse, have been married for 6 years and live in his hometown of Carthage, Missouri. |

Steve attended Multnomah School of the Bible in 1986 to 1993. Steve served several years as a Youth Pastor at Sunset Presbyterian Church before moving to Grace Community Church as the Singles Ministry Leader. Steve worked as a Residential Counselor with Youth Guidance Association working with adjudicated youth. Steve also led Signature as a worship leader. Steve came to Responder Life in 2007 as the Director of Family Escape and Northwest Regional Director and in 2011 was appointed the Vice President of Western U.S. Steve currently serves as a speaker and teacher in Worldview, Evangelism, Discipleship and Apologetics and is a Chaplain for the Portland Police Bureau. Steve lives in Portland Oregon with his wife, Karen three boys, Elijah, Micah, and Luke. |

L.A. was a police officer with the Toronto Police Services for 30 years. In 1990 she co-founded the CISD protocol now used by many police agencies nationwide. L.A. is a graduate of Waterloo Bible College as an ordained minister, Certified Pastoral Counselor and is Level II Trauma & Resiliency certified through the Hincks-Dellcrest Trauma Centre. L.A. has served 8 years pastorally at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Emergency, CCU and Palliative Care Units. L.A. has been a Sexual Abuse & Domestic Violence Victims Advocate and Educator for government and police agencies over the last 20 years. She lives with her husband Ron and 4 dogs on their horse farm 1 hr. north of Toronto. |

Terry is married to a sergeant for the Hillsborough Sheriff’s Department, Terry has been a community leader for over 20 years in the Tampa Bay area, serving on several boards. Terry has sat on the Chairman’s Council for the world-renowned Betty Ford Center for over 10 years. She is a Christian Life Coach and has her certification for PTSD Management, Awareness, Spouse Awareness, and Pre-Trauma Peer Defusing. Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Oklahoma Baptist University and a Masters of Divinity degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Michael has served as a youth and campus minister, as well as serving as Pastor at Bykota Church for several years. Michael now works at Redings Mill Fire Department as a full time Engineer. Michael also serves as the volunteer Chaplain for this Department as well as several other area Departments. Michael is married to Cathy and they have two children Callen and Katelyn.

Kimberly graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Broadcast Media Communications. She spent 14 years as a news anchor and reporter, working all over the Pacific Northwest before transitioning into a feature show host – sharing stories of extraordinary people and adventures for the whole family. In 2003, she became a triple crown pageant winner, capturing the titles of Mrs.. Oregon, Mrs.. US and Mrs.. International in the United Nation married women’s pageant system. She still uses her titles today hosting charitable events and speaking to women’s groups. In 2005, Kimberly began volunteering as the spokesperson for Responder Life and in 2011 became the Northwest Partnerships Director. Kimberly is married to a law enforcement officer and they live in Portland, OR with their three children. |

Cindy Dagnan, Director of Midwest Partnerships (Read More about Cindy)
Cindy holds degrees in Biblical Literature, Secondary Education/Social Sciences & a Master’s in American History. She is a the wife of Greg, a police chief, the mother of four daughters [Eden, Emmy, Ellie & Elexa], and is also a worship minister, author & speaker. She is a regional director for Responder Life. They live in a different farmhouse in the Midwest, after losing their restored farmhouse in a tornado.

Pat has 25 years experience in Crisis Intervention, including service as a Senior Police and Fire/EMS Chaplain; certified Chaplain Trainer; and Disaster Responder and Trainer. He is an ordained minister, a credentialed public school teacher, and an approved Critical Incident Stress Management Instructor. He is a Certified Trauma Services Specialist and has two Master’s Degrees in Education and Administration. Pat is married, with four adult children and one grandson. |
